History
In the small mountain village in Faltschen, above Reichenbach in Kandertal, a small chapel (church) was built in 1930 for the local villagers. In the eighty years of their existence, a service (sermon) was held twice a month on Sunday evenings. Over the decades, the villagers have become increasingly mobile and fewer and fewer people have come to the Sunday service.
In 2007, the Linder and Megert families bought the old chapel and lovingly converted it into a true bijoux. The pretty hideaway was officially opened on January 2011.

Arrival
Car: The guest house is very centrally located at the beginning of the Kandertal in the Bernese Oberland on a high plateau above Reichenbach. By car, you can reach Faltschen from the federal capital Bern in 35 minutes, from Spiez in just 10 minutes and from the airport Bern Belp you need 25 minutes. On request, we will pick you up at Intercity Bahnhof Spiez or at Bern Belp Airport for a fee.
Train: If you arrive by train please drive to Intercity train station "Spiez". From there take a taxi or call us so we can pick you up if possible.
